my dream came true!!!

i finally got to visit the Georgia Aquarium.

i never went in all my years of living in Atlanta.

it took a trip through GA on our way to Maryland,

but i did it.  i went.  Nate & i had a blast.

have you ever made a stingray smile??

his smile was as big as mine, and sums up the whole day.

it's times like these that i wish my nerdiness 

had carried over to me becoming a scientist.

oh, well.

and then he said...

"YOU'RE MY FAVORITE PERSON TO TALK TO!!!!!!"

Just like this, no lie.  

We were trying to get all of our last minute packing and cleaning done so we could officially move out and hit the road.  I was apologizing in advance for being overly chatty since I had been drinking an energy drink.  I don't ever drink caffeine, really, so it kind of does a number on me.  He was sweeping and swiffering (clearly) and when I looked up, I had just enough time to grab my phone and snap this picture.  He makes me laugh.  I love him.

i have never...

been so exhausted in all my life.

not even when i was planning my wedding and moving halfway across the country.

being a grown up is a pain.  but i wouldn't have it any other way.

i have also never been so excited.

Maryland is going to be chock full of adventures.

i can't wait to see what it holds in store for my little family.

in the meantime, i'm sure there will be tons of little happenings

along our way.
